There is so much yet so less. In the run for more and more…everyone wants more in life...no one seems satisfied with what they have...
We don’t seem to understand the value of what we have and the cause, the reason that we exist for. We simply join the race to gain more and more. But the question is what do we get out of it?
Will more riches & wealth cure fatal diseases like cancer or Aids? Will Daniel getting more marks in exams make him the best boy? Will the understanding between Sandra and Chris grow if he gives her more time and takes her out shopping? Will the almighty come straight down to Earth to give his enormous blessings if we were to worship him more and more?
The answers to all these questions can never be determined. Because the run for more and more will never have a stop but yes there may come a time when the lust, the greed for more and more would reach a point when the world will explode and humanity will shatter down into pieces. Man will never know what the beauty of simplicity in life is. He would be so busy thriving for more that he’d even forget and may never realize what wonders can be created with less and a few…
Surely money can’t buy everything but love can do wonders. Love and affection can heal the greatest of diseases. It can make a person feel valued and worthy. Probably more marks may not make Daniel the best boy but satisfactory performance with some amount of participation in extracurricular activities and moral values would make him an extra ordinary boy. For better understanding to thrive between Chris and Sandra, Chris need not spend more time with Sandra or take her shopping. It is a mutual feeling that each one needs to develop for one another. That’s the beauty of love and life. Undeniably the almighty would not come down to shower his auspicious blessings on all of us if we were to worship him more and more but definitely with benevolence, compassion and concern for all beings one can truly please Lord and serve humanity.
It’s all very simple and eternal. This seeks no training, no effort. One will live contented and satisfied if he/ she can abhor the worldly pleasures and live for one another.
Ill feelings like envy, revulsion, covetousness, resentment, vengeance can be ousted if one determines to live a simple content and happy life.
