Let’s make the complicated …simple

The other day I missed the cab so I had to resort to a cycle rickshaw to reach office on time…on ma way to DLF Phase 5; I came across several delectable sights which really made me ponder hard on how simple things could really make complicated life fascinating and gratifying.
Kids, carefree of the scorching sunny day, playing on the swing made up of rope tied between 2 trees. A young lad, serving cold glass of water to every thirsty passerby, girls dressed in colorful dresses running and chasing each other. These were all sights that totally held ma attention and got a smile on my face.
On my way back from office, I pulled the screen down and let the heavy blast of air come in. It made my hair all messy but refreshed me totally… I was excited and letting myself lose and easy with these little things was giving me pleasure which was far beyond comparison.
Then a thought occurred to me… life can be made so simple and easy with the way we live it…it’s the unnecessary pressure that we live up with, which not only proves futile but also plagues our life with only distress and tension.
Kids playing in the scorching daylight do not fear falling sick, regardless of whether the water is pure or not, thirsty man still drinks the water to succumb his thirst, young girls not one bit worried about their future, as to what will happen next, play around in glory. This is what is living life… we may feel very comfortable sitting in a big luxury car with the AC on but the excitement that one experiences with the air gushing in the car through the open window screen is something one cannot comprehend….
Just give it a thought, life could be made so simple if we were to get up each day smiling, welcoming each day with wide stretched arms rather than worrying how the day would go? All we should care about is that we should give our best to our ability in whatever work we are putting in our effort and everything would fall right at its place…hence
complicated will be made simple!!

Values..Ethics..Principles and culture:Are they for real???

Values, Ethics Principles and culture- These are big heavy words but do they really mean or do we really follow them in the real sense?
Who sets these values and ethics? How can it fit apt for both Mr.A and Mr.A's son? Are they not two different people with two different brains and two different nervous systems?
I don't deny the fact that child's first school of learning begins at home. Parents instill values, ethics in the child and raise them with good culture but as time passes by, the toddler becomes an adolescent and finally grooms up into an adult.During this entire transition, the individual evolves into a mature person and starts thinking his own way.He has his own set of values ethics principles and culture now- what is wrong in it?
Times change, people change, environment and surroundings change, trend, style, fashion, taste everything changes.
Undoubtedly values and culture are something which should be affirmed and prized but who decides which values should i adorn, which culture sholud i adopt to. What is right and what is wrong?
Its both heart and soul that enables the individual to determine and distinguish between good and evil. Heart and soul decides values, ethics, principles and culture. There is no good or bad values, ethics, principles and culture. It is how we perceive them to be.
In my opinion an honest cobler who earns his daily livelihood by sewing and mending people's shoes is a man of greater values, ethics and culture than an officer who lacks integrity and often accepts bribes to do unethical jobs.
An individual of strong will, mind and soul with pure and gentle heart would surely exhibit good values, ethics, principles and culture.
Hence to make values, culture, ethics and principles real one should first have good heart and soul.
